This weekend was fluries and temperatures dipped into low 20s once again, but I spent a weekend surrounded by flowers - representing Master Gardeners of Sussex in NJ Springfest Flower and Garden show. It was awesome! Ok, so my role wasn't that important but the show itself was great. Flowers and wonderful landscaping, lectures and so many people! Loved it. Even people were wearing "flowers" which you'll see below. So here are some shots that I got and you can see more here: http://www.springfestgardenshow.org/gallery/
All of this just made me even more impatient to plant out my gardens. Of course I have to be patient and wait for winter to go away and temps to go above 30 before even venturing outside.
Looks like a great show. We have a Home & Garden show here every year, but I've only gone once as it tends to me more "home" and less "garden" than I would like.
ReplyDeleteOh there is another "home and garden" show as well that mostly focuses on home improvement than anything else. that's why I love flower show as it's mostly about flowers, gardens and landscaping with very few vendors selling anything outside that area (i.e. jam/jellies or kitchen sinks)
DeleteHi! Wish there was a lovely home and garden show near me! Glad you could enjoy one. We are going to get some nights of cold temps again. I planted my strawberries today but will be covering them for a few nights.Nancy
ReplyDeleteI hope your strawberries will make it through the cold without any damage.
