End of June Harvest

Pretty big harvest today, mostly because my sister is here and I was waiting on harvesting most of the week so she'll have her pickings. So we have alot of beans, peas, potatoes for pierogi, carrots, chery tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, cucumber and couple of heads of garlic.
Green Beans were 1lb 9.3oz, potatoes 4 lbs 9.4oz and carrots at 11.3oz
Shelling peas were at 12.6 oz, yellow squash at 8.8oz and last of sugar snap peas 3 lbs and 2.6 oz.
Yellow wax beans were only 3.7 oz, cauliflower and broccoli 12.6oz, and cucumber 2.3 oz.
Cherry tomatoes were 2.3 oz, kale at 5.2 oz and garlic at 7.5 oz total.

  1. What a great variety! My week was mostly onions and potatoes, with some lettuce and cabbage. My peas are done, and I'm between carrot harvests. I'm ready for tomatoes!

    1. I'm ready for tomatoes too but it's going to be a long wait - they're all late variety. Maybe next year I'll plant some early too. I'm all done with peas (there was another harvest on thursday but I forgot to take picture). Onions are only now starting to show signs of life and growing small bulbs and cabbages are very tiny. I do need to pick more of my beets.

  2. Once again you have a really beautiful harvest Jenny! My carrots are only just beginning to size up and my cukes are just blossoms, green beans too. It's so interesting to see how plants develop and ripen at different rates in different areas.

  4. Great harvest, and what great variety you have. This time of year we are still waiting for summer crops to mature so I'm lucky to have one or two types of veggies to harvest. More coming soon though!!
