Colorful harvest for dinner

Took few minutes to pick veggies for dinner for tonight and tomorrow lunch so keeping it brief. From left to right we have cauliflower, gold and red beets, red bliss potatoes, red and purple carrots and whole lot of peas. YAY for first carrots! They are small but so tasty!
There were also strawberries picked, some oak leaf lettuce and a handful of spinach. Last night I used previous harvest of peas and spinach for a meal for my hubby- he didn't mind it too much  :)
Now I'd better start making lunch for tomorrow - peas & carrots with young potatoes & veal for him.

    1. These are very small carrots too, I will be waiting at least 2 more weeks before trying to pull any more of them.

  3. Hi Jenny, Nice harvest again and like the way you are using your things. How did you cook your spinach on hubby's plate? Nancy

    1. Nancy - I melted a spoon of butter and just sauteed spinach with a bit of sea salt and pepper. Sometimes I use choped bacon it in. And other time I just put a spash of Moscato and a drop of honey instead of pepper :)
