Simple garden techniques described in details so anyone can easily follow through on their end while sharing ideas and pictures on how the garden is progressing through out the year.
This was truly a highlight of my weekend :) My hands were shaking too much from excitement so video at first is VERY shaky, but you'll get to see all 3 cubs and mama bear come down the tree and forage on the ground :)
Where I grew up in the Colorado mountains bears have become a real problem. My mom even had one come into the house once looking for food. They have a lever door handle on the front door and it wasn't locked. So the bear just opened the door.
I haven't seen coyotes but foxes, bunnies, bears, deer, wild turkeys are a plenty. I'd rather welcome wild life to this area instead of overflow of NYC folks on 'vacation' as they do more damage and trash than all animals combined together.

ReplyDeleteThey don't bother us at home, they just want berries. There are so many orchards around us that it's not an issue with people.
DeleteWow! Exciting! I had a family of 5 coyotes cross the yard on Saturday morning. This wildlife situation is getting out of control!

DeleteOh my! What are they doing to your garden?
ReplyDeleteNot a thing! There is nothing in the garden that appeals to them. They did pick out the last of the berries of wineberry bushes though.
