John Candy, "Big bear! Big Bear on my back!"
my version was "YAY, babies are back!" :)
Where I grew up in the Colorado mountains bears have become a real problem. My mom even had one come into the house once looking for food. They have a lever door handle on the front door and it wasn't locked. So the bear just opened the door.
They don't bother us at home, they just want berries. There are so many orchards around us that it's not an issue with people.
Wow! Exciting! I had a family of 5 coyotes cross the yard on Saturday morning. This wildlife situation is getting out of control!
I haven't seen coyotes but foxes, bunnies, bears, deer, wild turkeys are a plenty. I'd rather welcome wild life to this area instead of overflow of NYC folks on 'vacation' as they do more damage and trash than all animals combined together.
Oh my! What are they doing to your garden?
Not a thing! There is nothing in the garden that appeals to them. They did pick out the last of the berries of wineberry bushes though.
