Harvest May 12

This week we're finally eating our own greens. I propbably picked more asparagus than I should have at one time, but it was so tasty! Some fresh scallions, salad and mustard greens were nice and crispy and made a perfect salad.
And then there was small harvest from the forest - fresh Morels and Ramps. They are so yummy!

    1. I love asparagus, but really wish it didn't take so long to get ready for harvest. We planted purple variety this year and will need to wait 3 yrs to even try it out :( hope yours will be a good producer next year.

  3. That asparagus looks delicious! I'm jealous. I'm on year three of my asparagus, but it is pathetic looking. I had to dig it up twice and both times they sat neglected in pots. They are still in pots because I don't have a permanent bed ready for them. I think I'm going to have to start over.

    1. Roots will be fine in large pot if it has good sandy and rich soil and then you can transplant it.
