Preserving for winter

I've been busy preserving many things lately so here are samples of some of the goodies: Hot & Sweet pepper jelly, strawberry & lemon jam, pear jelly, hot pepper jam, apple jam, strawberry jelly.
On the savory side we made quite a bit chili, apple sauce and salsa.
Now I just need to get all things labeled and stored properly so they won't go bad. Not in the pictures - green tomato salsa and jam but that's a post on it's own later.

  1. Beautiful jars. I've never seen anyone make apple jam before. I've seen apple jelly and apple butter.

  5. Well, yum. All of it looks so yummy. I love opening my home canned stuff, especially in the winter, when there's not much going in the garden.

    1. My honey already started opening some jars without waiting for winter. And yes, love having it all ready instead of running out to the store in freezing weather.
