Simple garden techniques described in details so anyone can easily follow through on their end while sharing ideas and pictures on how the garden is progressing through out the year.
We had some visitors this week right after the rain so their tracks are very clearly visible in the driveway. Tracks are coming from the behind the garden and into the woods. Can you guess who that is?
Is it bear? My brother in law and his hunting buddy were here on Sunday to scope out our woods for fall hunting. They uncovered beat tracks, scat and markings on a tree. Haven't seen a bear here but they say from that it was by recently. Is that what the tracks are for your visitor?
And to me it was the best thing that could have happened since the last insane bear "hunt" aka extermination that they did in our area. Under excuse that too many nuisance bears are around, which is normally showing up in populated areas, they did a hunt in the national parks - there are no nuisance bears there! they exterminated nearly 600 bears for no reason. So for me to see them come back is a very happy ocasion.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's a bear tracks. Momma and a young cub probably 1-2 yrs old.
DeleteI going to guess Bigfoot? ;) or a bear?
ReplyDeletetwo bears came for a visit.
DeleteHow big are the prints? That's not a black bear hopefully.
ReplyDeletePrints were pretty large size on one and smaller on another. I'd have to use both of my hands to cover one large print.
DeleteThis is who tends to visit us.
