More mushrooms

Today was another nice walk in woods and thanks to the rain last weekend and early this week mushrooms were plentiful once again. I was able to pick enough Chicken mushroom to sautee and freeze for many meals in winter.
It's all nice, still young and tender so it will be delish in winter meals. This week night temperatures will dip into 40s so that means that Hen of the Woods - aka Maitake will start fruiting so that's my next target.

    1. Lisa - they are running right now and Hens are out too! Get your kids and hubby and go looking. They don't like deep woods so won't have to go too far walking :)
