I pick mushrooms in the local state park and right now they are abundant - prime season. You can check if your local areas have mychological associations that you can join. You really know your mushrooms. We'll have to keep working at this. Maybe we can follow your lead and find more and more varieties.Jodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05442310215979259623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106426376973109568.post-31231059281941359572012-09-03T18:41:28.734-07:002012-09-03T18:41:28.734-07:00It really isn't that many - there are many San...It really isn't that many - there are many San Marzano left but not many regular large tomatoes. Can you google your local area for mychological associations to see if you can join field trips? that's the best way to lear on the spot how to identify them. I am such a chicken about identifying and collecting mushrooms - I know we have so many edible ones in our area but also some dangerous items too so I just pass on them altogether. Really wish I knew an expert in the area that could give me a serious one on one hands on tutorial on the subject. kitsapFGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120640838501186514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106426376973109568.post-88552820724096233782012-09-02T09:02:47.262-07:002012-09-02T09:02:47.262-07:00Sadly yes, they are the leftovers of what was lush...Sadly yes, they are the leftovers of what was lush and green beds.
